We are excited to to offer a brand-new wellbeing retreat in the Lake District for September 2024.


This exclusive 3-day retreat, from Friday 6th - Sunday 8th September 2024, is hosted near to Lake Grasmere, a small and picturesque lake in the heart of the Lake District. 


This is a truly one-of-a-kind, secluded Lake District retreat, complete with breath-taking views, and immersed in all of the beauty the Lake District has to offer.


Timed when the Lakes are at their warmest, and the late summer sun has a golden glow, before the seasons slowly start to shift – The Fitness Suite’ new wellbeing retreat offers 12-20 guests an immersive experience designed to help relax and restore, in the epitome of nature, whilst enjoying a fully catered weekend packed with practices to help you refocus and find that balance we all so desperately need.


Using an engaging mix of restorative wellbeing practises, the programme is designed to help rejuvenate, re-energise, and to help focus on what really matters. Guests will receive guided tuition to enjoy a programme of indoor and outdoor pilates, walking, lake swimming, mindfulness, meditation, sound baths and breathworks sessions (All activities are optional, you can opt to participate in as many or as few as you'd like).

Spend some dedicated time for yourself in the Lake District connecting with nature; taking care of your wellbeing and nourishing your body and mind. Our retreat holds space for 12-20 guests with single occupancy, twin or double room options.

You’ll be looked after by experienced professional hosts, stay in full board accommodation with stunning views set in the heart of nature, enjoy plenty of outdoor space; indulge in delicious meals and experience a bespoke itinerary packed full of restorative and replenishing activities including pilates, lake swimming and breath works sessions, and an immersive sound bath practice as well as mindfulness training.

Note: Itinerary is provisional and subject to change. Certain activities may be weather dependant*.


DAY 1


3 pm- Arrival

Time for you to unwind, take in your surroundings and settle into your retreat home for the next two days 


4 pm Welcome meeting / afternoon tea and cake

Meet your host Chris who will talk you through the weekend itinerary


5.15pm-6.15 pm Yoga / Meditation on the lawn*

A relaxing guided meditation and gentle, restorative yoga practice for you to stretch out and unwind after your journey


7.30 pm - Evening meal 

3-course meal served in our dining room


9 pm Guided Relaxation and Mindful Practice

A relaxing  experience with a guided practice to encourage a blissful nights’ sleep



DAY 2


7 am Tea/Coffee/Fruit


8:30 am Pilates 

An energising Pilates session combining breathing practices with a powerful flow to awaken body and mind set for the day ahead


9:30 am Breakfast

A choice of continental or cooked breakfast served in our dining room.


11:30 am - Outdoor Walk

Option 1- A steady 5km walk through the Lake District taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Option 2- Instead take some time to enjoy the local town ( a short 5 minute walk from the accommodation)


1:30 pm - Lunch on the Lake

A pre-made packed lunch over looking one of the most beautiful lakes. A chance to be mindful and connected to the picturesque views.


2.30 pm - Water Immersion/ Open Water Swim

An invigorating dip in the open water. A small friendly lake ideal to build confidence in the water.


3:30 pm A short walk back to the accommodation 


4:00pm Time to Relax

A little me time, enjoy the property and local town or simply rest.


5:15- 6:15 pm Pilates Yoga Mixed Session

A relaxing PiYo practice to help stretch and flex the muscles and spine following an active day.


7:30 pm Evening Meal

3-course meal served in our dining room


9 pm Guided Relaxation and Mindful Practice

A relaxing  experience with a guided practice to encourage a blissful nights’ sleep


DAY 3


7 am - Tea/Coffee/Fruit 


8:30 am - Yoga & Pilates Mixed session

£100 booking deposit required upfront. Outstanding balance due 6 months before the event.
